Beth Israel Men's Club
The efforts of Beth Israel Men’s Club affect every aspect of the shul. Their innovative programs enhance spirituality, increase learning, develop leadership skills, and foster fellowship.
Members of the Men’s Club also run the House Committee, overseeing the enhancement and maintenance of the synagogue.
The Men’s Club, in conjunction with the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs, holds a World Wide Wrap annually. This year the WWW will be held on Sunday morning, February 7 at 8 AM. The object is to have as many Jews as possible perform the mitzvah of Tefillin. Extra Tefillin are provided and personal trainers are available to help. Last year a record 4675 Jews from around the world participated!
Our World Wide Wrap is followed by an elaborate breakfast prepared by the Men’s Club. They have actually become quite famous for these wonderful breakfasts! They will also be serving breakfast on Sunday mornings, when our rabbinic intern visits.

Matzo Fund Breakfast, February 21, 2010
On Sunday, February 21, the Men’s Club chefs will prepare a fabulous breakfast to kick off Matzo Fund 2010. You are all invited! Breakfast will be served immediately following minyan at 8:00 AM.
Proceeds from the Matzo Fund are distributed to Jewish families throughout the community. The money helps those in need buy matzo and other Passover foods. Last year we were able to help 51 people. With your participation, we hope to help even more this year. Please send your donations to: Congregation Beth Israel, 5240 Calkins Road, Flint, MI 48532, designated for the Matzo Fund. Even if you cannot join us for breakfast, donations of any amount are appreciated.

The men are also expert grillers and are happy to host cookouts for the Annual Meeting and other occasions, whenever requested.
