Our Facility

Our beautiful synagogue was built in 1972. The main sanctuary seats 308 people and is adorned with custom stained glass windows and an aesthetically dramatic arc housing our Torahs. It is used for Bar/Bat Mitzvah, weddings, funerals, and high holiday and special Shabbat services.

The smaller Rabbi Paul S. Reis Chapel is used for daily minyan and Shabbat services. It is conducive to intimate gatherings, and a perfect setting for interactive services.

Our kosher kitchen gives us a lot to brag about. Completely supported and managed by Beth Israel Sisterhood, the commercial kitchen is a state-of-the-art facility. Lots of yummy treats come from our kitchen!

The social hall provides a stage for dramatic presentations and plenty of room for banquets, meetings, parties and other social activities. It can comfortably hold 300 people, or 22 sixty-inch tables in addition to a dance floor. It is also the perfect location for Sisterhood’s annual holiday bazaar and their huge rummage sale held every August, as well as our Purim carnivals.

Our classrooms are of great importance to us. The Ivriah, our combined religious school with Temple Beth El, is housed here. This is where we teach our children the language of their people and the history and culture of Judaism.

We also house a complete and comprehensive library where we can seek information and profitably spend leisure time.

Our grounds are meticulously maintained by our custodial staff. Volunteers plant beautiful flowers each spring and spend countless hours watering and weeding the flower beds.

Our facilities are available for rent. For more information call the office at 810-732-6310.
